We offer organized trips to several locations. Twice a year we conduct our Europe Tours which include 8 countries! During the summer we operate in Greece and during the winter in the Canary Islands, Spain. We chose sailing destinations fitting to our health care concept: peaceful places with excellent sailing conditions that are not overrun with mass tourism yet. However, our schedule includes also some cosmopolitan destinations.
In spring and autumn, we offer cruises all around Europe. Our schedule includes countries like France, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Italy, Gibraltar, Malta and Greece. We have made a careful selection of the stops and offer first-class sightseeing adventures combined with sailing experiences to our passengers.
Greece is a unique sailing paradise: Thousands of miles of unspoiled coastline and islands in all colors and varieties wait for you to explore it! It reaches from the picturesque Saronic Gulf islands close to Athens and the whitewashed islands of the Cyclades, to the unique Dodecanese and the pine laden islands with azure clear waters of Northern Sporades as well as the verdurous islands of Ionian Sea. All are worth to gain sailing experience. The Greek islands make up 20% of the total area of Greece, creating a coastline of more than 15000 km. Among this complex of islands there are hundreds of unspoiled islets with beautiful bays and sandy beaches. The water is crystal clear and the sun shines in average around 300 days and 3000 hours of sunshine per year. To enjoy Greek cuisine in the evening there is always a hospitable port which pleases all kind of styles: from a picturesque fishing port to a famous cosmopolitan island. Greece has long been a popular retirement destination owing to its good weather and low cost of living.
We from "Care Sailing" focus in first line on the (Northern) Sporades Islands and Halkidiki for the summer season:
The Sporades Islands are an archipelago along the east coast of Greece, northeast of the island of Euboea, in the Aegean Sea. In total they count a number of 24 islands, but only four are permanently inhabited: Alonnisos, Skiathos, Skopelos and Skyros. According to their closeness to Thessaloniki, the second biggest city of Greece, they may also be called the Thessalian Sporades.
Halkidiki as our second sailing destination is a peninsula in the region of Central Macedonia in Northern Greece and closely connected to Thessaloniki. It attracts many tourists from all over the world every year.
The Canary Islands are a Spanish archipelago and the most southern region of Spain located in the Atlantic Ocean, 100 kilometers west of Morocco. Eight main islands belong to the complex: Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, La Palma, La Gomera, El Hierro and La Graciosa as well as many smaller islands and islets.
